Born and raised in Vancouver, Brittnay has spent over 20 years training and performing in styles such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, acro and contemporary, to name a few.
She has performed with Ballet BC and the Alberta Ballet in two seasons of The Nutcracker, and has also represented Canada at international competitions such as New York City Dance Alliance (NY), Dance Excellence (LA) and HipHop International (LV). Through these experiences, Brittnay has had the pleasure of taking classes from Travis Wall, Mia Michaels, Christina Woodard and Scott Forsyth, among other sought after choreographers. As well as having been cast as a dancer in many music videos for artists such as Bystarlight, and Amanda Lauren, she was also hired as an extra dancer for the Disney Channel movie, ‘Girl Vs. Monster’ and ‘Step Up: All In’.
Through her training in Vancouver, Brittnay has completed the Royal Academy of Dance examinations up to and including her Advanced 2. She was also a member of Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program, The Source Dance Company (2 seasons), and most recently TwoFourSeven Company, which has represented Canada 3 years in a row at the World HipHop International Championship, having placed in the top 10 each year.
Brittnay is also an Acrobatic Arts certified teacher.
