Grad: Lauren Germann When did you start dancing? “I started dancing when I was 3 years old” What is your favorite SHIFT memory? “It’s hard to choose, I have so many. One has to be going to Disneyland a couple of years ago. It was so fun, everyone sprinting to each ride together and dancing in the parade. There’s also of course this year at our last dance competition when we came off from hip hop, and walking out from backstage to seeing practically all of SHIFT there supporting us. I have never felt so loved and so grateful to be apart of the SHIFT community.” What are you doing next year? “Next year, I will be going to McMaster University to study nursing to hopefully become a pediatric nurse, and I’m hoping to join the dance team.” We are so proud of you Lauren! We will miss you lots 💛

Grad: Avery Dool When did you start dancing? “I started dancing when I was 2 years old but took a long break and came back to it when I was 12” What is your favorite SHIFT memory? “I have so many amazing memories at SHIFT from long days at the studio to late nights at competition, but my favorite memory has to be our last competition at the Fairmont surrounded by our amazing SHIFT family!” What are you doing next year? “Next year, I’m going to the University of Calgary to study Kinesiology and coming back to visit SHIFT as much as I can!” Congratulations, Avery!
