Born in Malaysia, Cassandra started training when she was 4 years old in the RAD Syllabus. At the age of 10, she was invited by her academy to compete in the Asian Grand Prix competition. She started training part-time with the Pointe and Music Academy (Malaysia) at 10 years old.
She has also competed in other competitions such as CSTD Malaysia, RAD Singapore, and Asian Grand Prix (2016). Cassandra then moved to Darwin, Australia in 2018 to finish high school and trained in the Vaganova Method. She was in the coryphée position and danced multiple soloist positions in Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, and Paquita. In 2019, Cassandra was accepted into the National Ballet School, Victoria, to train full-time professionally.
She graduated with a certification of Advance Diploma of Elite Performance in 2020. She then taught in multiple RAD and Vaganova Schools ever since 2021 and was also a finalist in the World Ballet Competition ’21. She is currently a trainee in the RAD CBTS graduating in 2024 and is also a company member in the Coastal City Ballet for season 2023 – 2024.
