Born and raised in Surrey, B.C, at the very young age of three she was “forced” by her mother to dance around on her tippy toes. After many years of training in jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and tap, she felt that her successes in the competitive dance scene were the boost of confidence she needed to pursue her passion of dance as a career.
The catalyst to Nathalie’s success was when she was selected to tour across Canada with her mentors, Kelly Konno, Dorie Konno, and Carolina Lancaster with their dance convention “Triple Threat”. She experienced her first taste of the commercial dance scene when they selected her to play Hilary Duff’s dance double in Disney’s production of “The Lizzie McGuire Movie”. Since 2003, she has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Michael Buble, Sarah McLachlan, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, and Ralph Macchio, and has also had the privilege of working with choreographers Mia Michaels, Sean Cheesman, Paul Becker, RJ Durell, Teresa Espinoza, and Luther Brown.
In 2010, she participated in CTV’s production of “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 3 and was a top 3 female finalist. Shortly after her participation in the show, she was asked to film the promotional commercial for Season 4 choreographed by the iconic Mia Michaels.
Although dance is her passion, she is actively training in acting, and pursuing an acting career in the film and TV industry in Vancouver. Most recently, she landed the role of “Mandy”, a supporting role in Lifetime’s movie entitled, “Holiday Spin” directed by Jon Rosenbaum and choreographed by Paul Becker.
“I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love.”
