Margaret, upon graduation from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Program, moved to Connecticut and danced with Hartford Ballet and Works/Laura Glenn Dance. Ms. Margaret also spent two summers at the Banff Center for the Arts in the Dance Professional Program, performing works by Crystal Pite, Brian Macdonald and the lead in Rubies and other ballets by George Balanchine.
After moving to New York City, Margaret studied on scholarship at The Julliard School and graduated receiving a BFA. She then performed a number of seasons with Radio City Music Hall Productions in the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular”. During off-season, Margaret performed in various productions and festivals in Ballet, Musical Theatre and Contemporary Dance.
Margaret has been a guest teacher in the Lower Mainland for over 20 years and was on faculty at Arts Umbrella for over 10 years and Vancouver Junior Professional Division (VJPD) for 6 years.
Margaret is a C-I Training Level II Certified instructor.
