Miss Jo-Ann is a professional ballet teacher and mother of two. She is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy Dance and received her training with Toronto’s National Ballet School of Canada. Not only has she coached students into successful passing their exams, she has also coached teachers towards their RAD teacher qualifications. She has a long and successful history of teaching in both Toronto and Vancouver at several different schools including at Douglas Ballet Academy, The Landing and VJPD to name a few. Jo-Ann has studied Dance Therapy and Experiential Anatomy and includes her knowledge into her classes. She is an active member of the Vancouver Dance Community often volunteering on the Vancouver Ballet Society’s board and teaching for the Dance for Parkinson’s Disease (Mark Morris Dance Group).
